Characteristics and surface quality of titanium plate

Titanium plate, is made of titanium as raw material of metal plate, titanium is a very special metal, texture is very light, but very tough and corrosion resistant, it will not be like silver will turn black, at room temperature to maintain its own tone. Titanium, which has a melting point similar to platinum, is widely used in metallurgy, electronics, medical, chemical, petroleum, medicine, aerospace and other industries.

1. Titanium plate is the surface of the oxide film equivalent to a good wear resistant hair separation agent, the use of titanium plate to save the separation agent, the plate stripping is easy, exempt from the plate pre-treatment process, titanium plate is half lighter than copper plate.

2. The service life of titanium plate is more than 3 times that of copper plate, which can reach 10 to 20 years according to operating conditions.

3. Electrolytic copper made from titanium plate has dense crystalline structure, smooth surface and excellent quality.

4. Because the titanium plate does not need to apply separation agent, it can avoid pollution of copper electrolyte.

5. Increase production capacity to reduce the production cost of electrolytic copper, so as to have better economic benefits.

The surface quality of the titanium plate

1. The surface of the plate should be smooth, metal color. Plates are permitted to be supplied with sandblasted surfaces;

2. Slight darkening and local water tracks are allowed on the surface of the plate; Local scratches, indentations, pits and other defects not exceeding half of the thickness tolerance are allowed, but the thickness should be small;

3. The surface of the plate is not allowed to have cracks, peeling, oxidation, folding, metal and non-metallic inclusions and other macro defects and traces of alkali washing;

4. The plate is allowed to clear local defects along the rolling direction, but the thickness of the plate shall not be less than the small allowable thickness after removal.
