(1) Heating system and final rolling temperature. The heating temperature of β titanium alloy before rolling is slightly lower than (a+P)/P transformation temperature. The rolling process is completed in the a+P phase zone. The heating time is calculated from 1 to 1.5mm/min. The pre-rolling heating temperature of titanium and titanium alloy bar billet and the final rolling temperature of profile are basically the same as the final milk temperature of milk bar.
(2) Selection of other process parameters. Because the output of titanium and titanium alloy rolled profiles is large, the length of products should not be too short, and the rolling speed should not be too large. In the actual production process, the rolling speed is generally 1~3m/s.
(3) According to the deformation resistance, wide spread value and elongation of titanium alloy, roll pass rolled titanium alloy profiles suitable for various types of steel profiles of titanium alloy are choose. If the batch of titanium alloy profiles is large, special roller pass rolling titanium alloy profiles can be designed according to the characteristics of titanium alloy.
