Rolling is the basic method of copper and copper alloy plate production, rolling is a kind of rolling parts in two mutual pressure, and the opposite direction of rotation between the gap between the roller, rolling out the product, raw material thickness thinning rolling deformation process. According to different feeding methods, the production of copper alloy strip can be divided into ingot rolling method, ingot forging rolling method, continuous casting strip rolling method and extrusion billet rolling method.
1. Ingot rolling method, usually hot rolling, is to first cast copper and copper alloy into larger ingot, heat it to a certain temperature, that is, higher than the recrystallization temperature of alloy material, generally equivalent to alloy melting point temperature 0.8~0.9, hot rolling into slab or blank. This is the traditional method of making blanks for copper plate and strip, and is still widely used today. It has large capacity, high efficiency, suitable for variety and mass production.
2. Extrusion rolling method mainly refers to the method of continuous extrusion into strip billet by the upper lead continuous casting rod. This method has shown obvious advantages in copper bar production. At present, some copper alloy manufacturers have completed the production of 300mm wide band blank test. The main reason for the interest in this method is that the investment of this method is much lower than that of the hot rolling method.
3, ingot forging rolling method, only for a few special cases, such as high strength, high conductivity of copper alloy slab. The plasticity of the ingot was improved by hot forging. The section area can also be increased by upsetting to create conditions for guaranteeing cold deformation processing rate. The production process of strip foil for copper alloy alloy consists of hot rolling, milling, cold rolling, heat treatment, surface cleaning, bending and shearing. In addition to pressure processing, the box material can also be produced by electrolysis.
