The straightening and finishing were carried out in the final die at 200℃~300'℃C. Die edge cutting advantages: low labor intensity, safer work, high cutting quality, high production efficiency, but the price of the mold is high, the purpose is special, a mold - a kind of forging, but also easy to produce rough edge cracks.

Surface treatment
All magnesium alloy forgings, whether in the intermediate process or in the final forging process, should be washed. Intermediate process etching is to show surface defects of forgings and intermediate blanks for repair. In addition to finding surface defects and deciding to repair or scrap the finished product, the purpose of process etching is to make the surface clean and convenient for oiling and packaging.
When etched, attention should be paid to the position of the forgings in the material frame, so as to facilitate the flow out of the tank and not accumulate in the forgings, otherwise, it will corrosion the forgings.
repair
The forging should be repaired immediately after etching. Available pneumatic grinder, electric soft grinder, wind shovel, flat shovel repair. Before repair, carefully check the parts and states of folding, cracking, pressing, peeling and other defects to determine the repair order. The transition of the repair place should be smooth, its width is 8~10 times the depth, and the process projection of the intermediate process should be repaired. The forgings after repair need to be washed again to check whether the repair is thorough. If it is not completely repaired, it should be repaired again. Qualified forgings are oiled and packed into storage.
