Description
Description

Hafnium ingots are metal materials made of high purity hafnium after casting. Hafnium ingots have the same metallic properties as hafnium because of its high purity. It can react with air to form an oxide film protective layer. When the temperature is 500 ~ 750℃, the oxide film will lose its protective effect, and when heated, it will combine with oxygen, nitrogen and other gases to form oxides and nitrides.

Features:

Hafnium has a high melting point, coexists with zirconium, and is used as the cathode of X-ray tubes. Hafnium tungsten or hafnium molybdenum alloys are used as electrodes for high voltage discharge tubes. Hafnium can be used as an acquirer in many inflation systems. The hafnium getter removes oxygen, nitrogen, and other unnecessary gases present in the system. Hafnium is also used in nuclear reactor control rods.
