Description
Description

Lead-tin alloy is a non-ferrous metal synthesized by lead and tin as the main components, supplemented by antimony (to increase hardness) and other trace metals. It is white gray and shiny. Soft and malleable. Popular jewelry lead tin alloy general grade is divided into 1~6#. 1~6# contain lead, antimony and other trace metals. The melting point of lead-tin alloy is about 200~320℃. The casting temperature is 380~480℃.

Application

Lead - tin alloys with different tin content have different properties and uses. Usually the use of various lead tin alloys is determined by their alloy composition.

Application of tin content in coatings

Tin content of 4% ~ 10% is mainly used as anticorrosive coatings for steel parts

Tin content of 6% ~ 10% is mainly used as wear-resistant coating for bearing bush and sleeve

Tin content of 15% ~ 25% for strip surface lubrication, adhesion, welding coating

Tin content of 45% ~ 55% is used as a protective coating to prevent corrosion of seawater and other media

Tin content of 55% to 66% is used to improve the surface of steel, copper, aluminum welding coating, namely for electronic components and printed boards

Lead-tin Alloy

Features:

1. Lead-tin alloy has stable performance, low melting point, good fluidity and small shrinkage.

2. Lead-tin alloy has fine grain size, good toughness, suitable hardness, smooth surface, no sand hole, no defect, no crack, good polishing and electroplating effect.

3. Lead tin alloy centrifugal casting performance is good, strong toughness, can cast complex shape, thin wall precision parts, casting surface is smooth.

4. Lead-tin alloy products can be surface treatment: electroplating, spraying, painting.

5. Lead-tin alloy crystal structure is dense, in terms of raw materials to ensure that the casting size tolerance is small, the surface is beautiful, and the post-processing defects are few.
