Nickel-titanium alloy rod is a binary alloy composed of nickel and titanium. Due to the change of temperature and mechanical pressure, there are two different crystal structure phases, namely austenite phase and martensite phase. The phase transition sequence of nickel-titanium alloy rod during cooling is parent phase -R phase - martensite phase. The R phase is rhomboid, the austenite is at high temperature (more than the same: the temperature at which austenite starts), or when deactivation is removed, the cube, hard. The shape is relatively stable. While martensite phase is relatively low temperature or loading (by external activation), hexagonal, nickel-titanium alloy rod ductility, repeated, not very stable, easy to deformation. |
