Description
Description

Rhenium powder is black at low temperatures and turns gray when heated to 1000 ° C. Rhenium wire is the highest melting point metal after tungsten. It is more stable to oxidants than tungsten and similar to platinum. Rhenium wire is slowly oxidized in moist air, when heated to 150-300℃ oxidation begins, above 600℃ oxidation accelerated, can form volatile Re2O7. Rhenium wire in oxygen atmosphere, that is, at 400℃ combustion Re2O7 white smoke and volatilization.

Process condition control:

Pure ammonium perrhenate can be reduced by ammonia to obtain rhenium powder, H purity is greater than 99.9%, H speed of 5 liters, reduction temperature:

The first stage was held at 500℃ for 1.5 hours;

The second stage was held at 800℃ for 1.5 hours.

At the end of the first stage of reduction, push the material to the cooling zone to cool for 20 minutes, take it out, grind the 180 mesh sieve in the agate mortar, after all screening, and then load the boat into the furnace for the second stage of reduction. In THE grinding process, attention should be paid to the spontaneous combustion of rhenium powder. After the second stage of reduction, under the protection of H in the furnace, after 20 minutes of cooling, the rhenium powder can be produced.
