Selection method of copper bar
1. The width of the copper bar must be the same as that of the outlet terminal of the circuit breaker.
2. The selection of high voltage bus mainly refers to a data, thermal stability, that is, short-term tolerance current.
3. The selection of low voltage bus is based on the rated current calculated by the transformer.
4. The selection of copper bar should also consider the dispersion coefficient, which is to consider the subsequent load and will not be used at the same time. The more circuits, the smaller the dispersion coefficient.
5. The contact surface between the copper bar and the electrical components should be smooth, the edge and the hole of the joint should be free of burrs and uneven, the copper bar should not have cracks and serious wrinkles after bending, the wrinkle height should not be greater than 1mm, the bending radius is generally not less than twice of the copper bar after bending, under the premise that the copper bar does not crack or seriously wrinkle after bending, the bending radius is allowed to be equal to the thickness of the bus.
Load capacity of copper bar:
First of all, we should understand that there are two ways to install the copper bar in the cabinet: For plain and vertical installation, the vertical carrying capacity is slightly higher than that of the flat panel, so the main bus wire of the distribution cabinet is mostly vertical, and there are copper bars. The carrying capacity of the copper wire will also change with the change of the ambient temperature. Here, we mostly use the ambient temperature of 35 degrees Celsius. The load capacity under different ambient temperatures can be obtained. The higher the temperature, the lower the load capacity.
The above is a question about how to choose the copper bar. Because the conductivity of copper is better than that of aluminum, the copper bus is widely used in electrical equipment, especially in the complete set of power distribution devices.
