A copper busbar alloy with zinc as an important alloying element, so called because it is often yellow. Brass row glorious and elegant, has good technology and mechanical properties, high electrical and thermal conductivity, corrosion resistance in the atmosphere, salt water and salt water, easy cutting and polishing, good weldability and cheap price. It is widely used in the manufacture of conductive and thermal components, corrosion resistant structural parts, elastic components, daily hardware and decorative materials, etc.

Also generally speaking, the cutting property of brass row is better than that of copper row (copper row random and sloppy sticking knife); In non - cutting processing, the deformation resistance of copper bar is small, more random and sloppy forming.

Copper is pure copper, pure copper color is orange red or rose red, but exposed in the atmosphere will be oxidized into purple, so as to be called copper.

The brass bar is a Cu-Zn alloy, containing 80% copper. The hardness is larger than the copper bar, but the conductivity and thermal conductivity are poor. Nickel and copper can form a continuous solid solution, and obviously expand the α phase region. Nickel in brass can improve the corrosion resistance of brass in the atmosphere and fresh water. Nickel can also improve the recrystallization temperature of brass and promote the formation of finer grains. Brass bar HNi65-5 nickel brass has single-phase α structure, has good plasticity at room temperature, also can be deformed in hot state, but the content of impurity lead must be strictly controlled, or it will greatly improve the hot working properties of the alloy.
