1. Chlor-alkali industry
Chlor-alkali industry is an important basic raw material industry, and its production and development have great influence on national economy. This is because the corrosion resistance of titanium to chloride ions is better than that of stainless steel and other non-ferrous metals. At present, titanium is widely used in the chlor-alkali industry to manufacture metal anode electrolyzer, ion membrane electrolyzer, wet chlorine cooler, refined brine preheater, dechlorination tower, chlorine cooling scrubber and so on. The main parts of these equipment used to use non-metallic materials (such as graphite, polyvinyl chloride, etc.), because the mechanical properties, thermal stability and processing performance of non-metallic materials are not ideal, resulting in coarse equipment, high energy consumption, short life, and affect product quality and pollution of the environment.
B. Soda ash industry
Soda ash is one of the basic chemical raw materials, which is directly related to the development of national economy. In the process of soda ash production, the gas medium is mostly NH3 and CO2, while the liquid medium is mostly NaC1 and NH4C1.
The solution of NH4HCO3 and C1- with higher concentration, the carbonation tower tubular using carbon drink and cast iron material for carbonation reaction, the hot mother liquid cooler, cooler, crystallizing external cooler and other main equipment are not corrosion resistant, corrosion leakage is serious, and the service life is not more than three years.
