Zinc ingot although the purity is relatively high, more than 90%, of course, there are impurities, zinc ingot has many uses, mainly used in the battery industry, printing and dyeing industry, rubber industry, chemical industry, zinc can also be used for spraying industry.
The main application of zinc ingots:
(1) Galvanizing
Because of its good corrosion performance, zinc is mainly used for the surface coating of steel and steel structural parts, widely used in automobile, construction, shipbuilding, light industry and other industries. And the zinc alloy can be recycled again.
(2) Copper alloy materials (such as brass) made from zinc ingot
Used in automobile manufacturing and machinery industry.
The strength and hardness of zinc itself are poor, but after the addition of other heavy metals, the strength and hardness increase, especially zinc-copper titanium alloy, the comprehensive mechanical properties close to the level of aluminum alloy, brass, gray cast iron, relatively good creep resistance. Therefore, zinc-Cu Ti alloy has been widely used in hardware production.
(3) Zinc ingots are used for casting zinc alloys
Mainly die-cast, many zinc alloys have excellent machinability, can be deep drawn and self-lubricated, can be welded by brazing or resistance welding or arc welding (in helium), and have good machinability. Under certain conditions, the superplastic energy is also better. More suitable for automobile, light industry and other industries.
